Cytology helps us examine cells from your pet’s skin, ears, lumps, or wounds to diagnose infections, inflammations, or abnormal growths. At Europets, we perform these tests in-house for quick, targeted treatment.
Our cytology services include:
- Ear swabs – to identify bacteria or yeast causing ear infections
- Skin scrapings – to detect mites or other external parasites
- Fine-needle aspirates – sampling cells from lumps or enlarged lymph nodes
- Impression smears – used for wounds, ulcers, or skin lesions
